Kids Duo International Kunitachi (KDI Kunitachi): A New Approach to Education

Kids Duo International is a state-of-the-art bilingual kindergarten with a fully tailored curriculum of English, Japanese and Physical Education. Each day our instructors strive to provide a high level of educational programs, which ensure that our students are better equipped for years of schooling in the challenging Japanese educational system.

While Kids Duo International has a set curriculum, teachers are actively encouraged to grow and expand on these foundations to create truly unique and personalized lessons; allowing ample creative freedom to inject passion and enthusiasm into your class. No one day is the same at KDI, and you can expect to cover a broad variety of English subjects such as Reading & Writing, Numbers & Shapes, Phonics, Songs & Chants, Arts & Crafts, and Show & Tell, just to name a few. By giving our students such a wide variety of programs, we are actively engaging them and enabling them to learn through different mediums.

English teachers are an essential part of our nursery school.

Not only do they conduct all English classes, they also assist Japanese teachers throughout the day.
They do so by helping to manage and assist the students during Japanese classes, joining inand participating during physical education class, or guiding students how to play musical instruments during music class. Together, teachers ensure a high level of education and make sure our students excel inall areas.

Kids Duo International students are children ages 2-6, and each teacher is assigned to a particular class for the duration of the whole school year (April-March).

・Preparation for lessons and events
・Cleaning and organizing the facility
・Plan and organize annual events: Summer Festival, Sports Day, Music Festival, Christmas party, etc.
・Meeting/discussion with parents
・Promotional activities (company events)
・Support school activities

・English language: Must be a Native-level
・Must have at least a two-year Associate’s Degree or higher for visa sponsorship purposes.

・Must be able to participate in all school events, including those scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays In addition, instructors might be asked to work at company events.
・Must be enthusiastic in teaching energetic lessons, and creative in finding new ways to engage students while teaching via a predefined curriculum.
・Must support school management and assist children in their personal development.

JPY 250,000/month

・Monday to Friday
・8 hours per day, excluding one hour break
・Working hours vary between 7:15 and 20:00
・Teachers may also be asked to work paid overtime in mornings and evenings,
if able occasional special events also held on weekends as well

Saturday and Sunday
Company holidays which fall predominantly on the three main holidays in Japan:
・Golden Week
・Obon Week
・End of Year/New Year
